11.30am - 5.30pm

Departing by coach from Crown Promenade at 11.30pm for the Box Hill Golf Club arriving approximately at 12.30pm for a 1.00pm shot gun start.

A sandwich lunch with drinks including tap beer, house wine and soft drinks is included. Returning by coach to Crown Promenade 5.30pm and 6.00pm in time for the welcome drinks.

Sailing
Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, St Kilda
10.30am - 4.00pm

Departing from Crown Promenade at 10.30am under escort of Past Commodore, Peter Chapman, we catch the Melbourne Light rail through leafy bayside suburbs skirting Albert Park, home of the Australian Formula One race to Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, St Kilda.

After a light morning tea and race briefing, participants will be divided into crews,
introduced to skippers of the keel boats for a sailing race on Port Phillip.

The bay is arguably the best sailing race course in the world with a great view of the Melbourne skyline. With good fortune there will be small penguins, dolphins and maybe a seal to greet us. There will be action as all crews can actively participate in crewing the yachts, but no experience is necessary.

Return to the Squadron for a light lunch, refreshments and presentation of prizes. Escort back to Crown Promenade by tram along iconic St Kilda Road. Clothing - non marking sports shoes and weatherproof jacket. Some wet weather gear available depending on weather.
