Description

Judge Kennedy was the first woman judge appointed in Western Australia in 1985.  She retired 25 years later as the longest serving judge in Western Australia.  For the last 6 1/2 years Antoinette was the Chief Judge of the Court.  The first and so far the only woman in Western Australia to head a jurisdiction and only the third in Australia.  When Antoinette retired she was made an Officer of the Order of Australia (A.O.) and elected to the Western Australian Women's Hall of Fame.
