Our panel guests are The Honourable Justice Riordan of the Supreme Court of Victoria and His Honour Judge O’Neill of the County Court of Victoria.
Their Honours will consider the ‘just, efficient, timely and cost-effective’ resolution of insurance related disputes, especially those involving a litigant attempting to enforce third party rights under a policy of insurance against a non-party insurer to related proceedings having regard to the applicable mandates of the Civil Procedure Act 2010 (Vic).
This updated seminar from 2014 will be of special interest to insurance claims managers, brokers, loss adjusters, independent expert consultants and their legal practitioners involved in the management of civil litigation seeking to enhance their appreciation of:
- overarching obligations
- case management
- discovery obligations
- court annexed mediation
within the framework of the 2010 Act (as amended).
The seminar will be chaired by members of the AILA Committee (Victorian Branch) John Simpson, Barrister of the Victorian Bar, and Lauren Ritchie, Senior Associate of Norton Rose Fulbright.
