Strategies, tips and traps
The expert panel will discuss how importers, manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers - together with their insurers, brokers and risk managers - can best respond to these issues and liability exposures. Issues addressed will include:
- Practical tips for manufacturers/suppliers to limit their exposure, including compliance with Industry Codes of Practice and applicable standards
- Legal risk management to minimise liability exposure to defective artificial intelligence systems
- Underwriting and claims management initiatives to better protect an insured’s coverage against defective artificial intelligence systems which cause personal injury, loss and damage
- ‘Best practice’ adopted by insurance risk managers to reduce the potential liability risks for manufacturers/suppliers arising from defective artificial intelligence systems
