David McKenna has 29 years’ experience acting for the insurance industry and practices in property and business interruption, general liability, professional liability, motor vehicle, industrial diseases, and workers compensation and employers indemnity. David is often called upon for indemnity advice on complex claims. He is the sole provider in WA for the largest Australian manufacturer of asbestos building, insulation products and frictional materials and has been involved in a number of leading High Court decisions in this area.
David also has experience in local authority liability actions being involved in a number of landmark High Court decisions. David and his team have acted in multi-party recovery actions arising out of major fires in WA. He advises and acts regularly in relation to liability claims involving construction issues, such
as loss of support and vibration claims.
