Rumesh Gnanaseelan: 2017 VIC/TAS Ron Shorter Award Winner!

AILA is pleased to announce Rumesh Gnanaseelan of Minter Ellison as the 2017 VIC/TAS Ron Shorter Award winner at the finals held in Melbourne on 18 July.
The finals were held at the office of Colin Biggers Paisley who are the award co-sponsors alongside Unisearch.
Rumesh's winning presentation "No Fault Compensation for Medical Injury: Exploring the Patient Safety Potential" was decided by the judging panel consisting of The Hon. Justice Dixon (Victorian Supreme Court), George Tarabaras (Executive Director, Marsh) and Catherine Dube (Chief Risk Offier, AIG).
Rumesh has taken away the converted crystal award and a trip to the APIC17 regional conference in Singapore to meet insurance and insurance law representatives from around the world.
We extend our congratulations to runners up Winnie Chen of HWL Ebsworth and Riley Gay of Norton Rose Fulbright for their engaging and high calibre presentations.
