Jackson McDonald: 2017 NSW/SA Ron Shorter Award Winner!

AILA is pleased to announce Jackson McDonald of GSA Insurance Brokers, Sydney as the 2017 NSW/SA Ron Shorter Award winner at the finals held in Sydney on 26 July.

The finals were held at the office of Colin Biggers Paisley who are the award co-sponsors alongside Unisearch.

Jackson's winning presentation "Insuring Autonomous Technology" was decided by the judging panel consisting of The Hon. Chief Justice Ward in Equity (Supreme Court), John French (CEO, Chubb) and Dallas Booth (Chief Executive, NIBA).

Jackson has taken away the converted crystal award and a trip to the APIC17 regional conference in Singapore to meet insurance and insurance law representatives from around the world.

We extend our congratulations to runners up Jane-Elise Harapoboulos (Wotton + Kearney, Sydney) and Elise Holmes (Minter Ellison, Adelaide) for their professional, entertaining and focused presentations.
