PPIR (Professional Performance, Innovation and Risk) is a change plan of the Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering Ltd aimed at improving individual, team and contractual performance in engineering. |
Description
At its core is the PPIR Protocol for Performance, a good practice standard for all professional engineers. During the Mobilisation Phase (2013/14) the materials and processes of PPIR have been piloted by industry partners and the results have been positive. If your organisation offers professional indemnity insurance or contracts works insurance to the engineering industry and profession finding out about PPIR is a must.

Ashley Brinson
Executive Director - The Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering
Ashley Brinson has been active in the latest phase of the Professional Performance, Innovation and Risk project, which won the 2010 Engineers Australia Engineering Excellence Award NSW. Ashley has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, an MBA from Rutgers University (New Jersey) and a Juris Doctor from Sydney University Law School. He led major capital expansions in the USA, Europe and Asia for Dow Corning. Ashley held leadership positions in fire and explosion risk analysis, Quantitative Risk Assessment and chemical plant hazards analysis. As project manager, Ashley supported construction safety at a Chinese site with 8800 workers, achieving 10 million man-hours without a lost time injury. Ashley is a fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineering, a Chartered Engineer (UK) and a Professional Engineer (USA).
