The threat of terrorism in Australia became a reality by the ‘Lindt Café Siege’ in Sydney in December last year. While society grappled with what had happened, insurers, their clients and business partners began to deal with the commercial aspects of such an act for the first time since the formation of the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation. |
